Our History in Canton |
Trinity has been sharing the good news of Jesus Christ in Canton since 1890, when we were first organized as Bethlehem Swedish Lutheran Church. The name was changed in 1926 from Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, and we moved into our current building in 1927. We continue to serve God and our neighbors in Canton and Fulton County!

Our Pastor
|
The Rev. Micah Garnett started serving as our pastor in 2016 after serving his first five years as a pastor in Monticello, Illinois. Originally from Pennsylvania, Pastor Micah graduated from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg in 2011. He studied computer science in college and loves using technology to help people hear the good news of Jesus Christ. He also works closely with many of the social workers who serve Fulton County residents.
