CAMA thanks Mark Bixler for producing this video of the State Budget Impasse Forum on June 12, 2017 at Canton High School! Over 400 people participated in the forum, and more than 50 devices turned into a Facebook Live stream of the event, which helped inform the Canton community about the challenges--present and future--that the lack of a state budget presents for social services, nursing homes, Canton schools, and Spoon River College.

CAMA unites congregations in the Canton area to engage in community ministry. In 2017, several CAMA pastors joined with local educational, social service, and business leaders to encourage Illinois lawmakers to end the budget impasse, that began in 2015.
