Since 2016, we have held an annual Blessing of the Backpacks near the beginning of the school year. We offer prayer and blessing for students, teachers, and school staff as their new year begins, and we have given everyone a special backpack tag to celebrate! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, though, we are not able to gather for our Education Celebration Sunday service as we usually would...so we are bringing the blessing to you virtually!
Download your backpack tag below, cut it out, fold the two sides together, and punch a hole through both layers where the circle is. Then, you can put a keyring or clip on there to carry it wherever you go! Or, if you prefer, we are offering a desk plaque this year because has many schools (including our own Canton Union School District #66) are starting online only. Print the plaque, cut it out, and attach it to your desk or hang it on the wall in your study area!
