The Central/Southern Illinois Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is holding this year's Synod Assembly virtually and will also offer a video worship service for congregations to use on the weekend of the assembly (June 5 & 6)! Service Information
  • Order of Service: Service of the Word from Evangelical Lutheran Worship
  • Scripture Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:18-21
    • ​Note: This is the only reading included in the service, as it is the Synod Assembly theme and is not part of the Revised Common Lectionary texts otherwise appointed for the week.
  • Preacher: Bishop S. John Roth
  • Bulletin: The full video service is designed so as not to require the use of a printed bulletin, as all relevant texts will be displayed on-screen. However, if you are planning to use the service in a "hybrid" fashion for in-person services or would like to print paper bulletins, please download the order of service document (Download Word Version | Download PDF Version).
  • Licensing: All copyrighted material appearing in in the video service is covered under the synod's licenses for streaming by congregations during the week of June 5-12.
