The Northern Conference of the Central/Southern Illinois Synod (located around Peoria) is offering a video series for Lent Midweek services in 2021!  Our theme is "Waters of Life" - a tour through some of the Bible's most engaging stories that center on water- and we have services for midweek use through the Lent season (not including Ash Wednesday or any Holy Week services). The first two weeks of service videos are complete, and you can check back here to download the rest of the services when they are ready!

Using the Services
  • The Full Service download includes Holden Evening Prayer by Marty Haugen (requires a license through OneLicense.net) and an additional hymn. If you use the Full Service download, please also use each week's Copyright Slide link (creates a Google Slides file) to prepare your copyright slide with your congregation's OneLicense number. Then, attach that slide to the end of the week's video for copyright compliance.
  • The Weekly Content Block includes the week's reading, reflection, and prayer (along with the hymn, if the one we selected happens to be in the public domain). You can drop this block into whatever service you already have set up.
  • If you like the way our services look, you can use our Google Slides branding pack to give your own services a polished appearance!
